Pathways of hope among Hispanic teens

/ 14 November 2007

The NYSR has recently released a new book about empowering young Hispanics for leadership in church and society: Pathways of Hope and Faith Among Hispanic Teens. I haven’t read the book yet — and I will admit to just a small amount of skepticism about the way Christian Smith used earlier work from the NYSR to talk about Catholic youth ministries — nevertheless, it’s GREAT to see a book focused on this topic. I deeply respect the work of many of the scholars who worked on this specific book (Elizabeth Conde-Frasier and Arturo Chávez among them) so I imagine THIS book will be excellent! You can download for free a summary of key insights in pdf form.
