Latin rite given permission for wider use

WhispersintheLoggia writes today that tomorrow the Vatican will release the long-awaited document on wider use of the Latin rite. You might remember that I’ve linked to concerns about this before, and this latest news does not set those concerns to rest yet, although it does look like the document may be more of a compromise than originally feared. As my concerns — and many others! — have to do with the potential impact of wider useage on interreligious relationships, I need to wait to see what the whole document actually says before commenting further.
