Odds and Ends

/ 1 September 2003

I’ve been so busy trying to finish up a variety of projects, that I haven’t given myself permission to write in here. I was actually keeping it as an incentive, sort of a “and when you’re done, you can write in your blog!”… but then I never got done. In any case, here are some odds and ends I had intended to write about. A piece that talks about the development of the King James bible and the development of Linux. An explanation of why we ought to be fighting the WTO’s plans to include cultural production (media, in particular) in their jurisdiction. A site purporting to talk about the symbolism of popular culture. The media ecology weblog (please note: I don’t necessarily agree with this one, but I’m interested in following it). Oh well… the best laid plans… and now the term begins!
