Care and Formation

Congregational Care and Formation

CG525, Luther Seminary, Fall 2014

How in caring for suffering in the world can we interpret what is occurring theologically (who is God), psychologically (what does it mean to be a human person), sociologically (what is the context)? How will we respond, personally and collectively?

This is a web page developed as an adjunct to a class taught at Luther Seminary in Saint Paul, MN. Please be advised: these sites are contextualized in my presentations, and are not meant to be either definitive or endorsed without critical reflection.

Here is the syllabus for this course, but please be advised that we may well tweak it as the semester goes on. We will also be using this rubric for the second paper, and this rubric for the group project. Other rubrics are contained within the syllabus itself.
