Resources for reflecting on the terrorist attacks...

Lately I've been thinking that we need to deal with the underlying issues that make the world ripe for terrorism. I can't help thinking our reliance on a consumer economy somehow figures in there. I'm not an economist, but it's got to be a factor. Also, our reliance on fossil fuels...

Some resources for thinking about long term approaches to peace, especially through conflict resolution education. Or you might enjoy the online Journal of Peace and Conflict Resolution.

Try either Commondreams.org, a newsite with articles from around the world; WACC's (World Association of Christian Communicators) site; or the "reporters without borders" web site. The Nonviolence Web is also a good source for alternative views of the situation.
